Grand
Targhee has long been famous for its powder, views, terrain, and
friendly atmosphere. We are gathering here for the fourth year to
celebrate this classic area and it's longstanding tradition of tele
skiing and great powder.
This is a national festival/workshop that will include two days of clinics
at Grand Targhee Ski Area and an optional touring day on Monday in the
Teton backcountry.

| Along
with the daily workshops there will be on snow demos, evening entertainment
and a general Tele Social throughout the weekend. We will be based
in Driggs, at the foot of the Teton Range and a 20 minute drive from
the area. You can sign up for the whole weekend event, part of it, or
just come for the gathering. |
On snow demos will be available
from various manufacturers. Monday is the optional touring day (weather
permitting) with a variety of backcountry tours in the West Teton area.
All tours will be guided with a local guide and a guest instructor/guide.
Some tours will focus on education and some on skiing. Evenings will
include slide shows and videos as well as general socializing in the
small town of Driggs, at the base of the mountain. |

We emphasize personal instruction, small
group sizes, and FUN. Our instructors have years of experience
and are a great collection from throughout the western
region.

There will be an on snow demo with skis,
boots, and bindings at Targhee on the Saturday and Sunday.
Some of the companies that will have demos there are Garmont,
Karhu, Voile, K2, Atomic, Black Diamond, and Scarpa. We
also have gear from Backcountry Access for the backcountry
day.

Space is limited for the tours and is available
first to workshop participants. The tour includes breakfast
that morning in Driggs and generally will be in the Teton
Pass area but will be decided based on best conditions.
Groups will include one guest guide and one local guide.
There will be different types of tours, some focusing on
education and some more on skiing.

Space
in the workshops is finite, especially in Total Backcountry.
Because of this there is no direct registration on the
website. You can go to the order page to ask for more
info or get a registration
